Assistant Teacher – Early Childhood Education
The Learning Experience – East Brunswick is seeking a caring and dependable Assistant Teacher to support our 2-Year-Old classroom. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping young children develop independence, communication skills, and confidence while working alongside an experienced Lead Teacher.

Responsibilities
- Support the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
- Assist with daily routines including meals, diapering, toileting, transitions, and outdoor play
- Engage children in hands-on learning activities that promote language, social-emotional, and cognitive development
- Encourage independence and positive behaviors through consistent routines and guidance
- Help prepare classroom materials and maintain a clean, organized learning environment
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators
- Follow all New Jersey childcare licensing regulations and health and safety standards
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in a childcare, daycare, or preschool setting preferred
- CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus
- Patient, energetic, and dependable
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
