About the Role:
Arceo Brothers NJ Inc is looking for an energetic and friendly Host/Busser to join our team in Netcong, NJ! This is a great opportunity to be the face of our restaurant, creating a welcoming atmosphere for every guest who walks through our doors. Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, managing seating and waitlists efficiently
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus in a friendly, professional manner
- Clear and reset tables quickly and thoroughly between seatings
- Assist servers by refilling water, removing dirty dishes, and maintaining table cleanliness
- Monitor dining room flow and communicate wait times accurately to guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and front-of-house areas
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and respond to guest inquiries
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or customer service role is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry items for extended periods during shifts
- Strong multitasking skills in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
