Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Data Scientist to support the PE&O Program Execution team. This position is in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program. Responsibilities include working with a team of talented professionals, engaging with teams across the program to understand analytics and data modeling requirements, architecting and building data pipelines connected to multiple program ASoTs, applying data engineering processes to manage infrastructure, storage, and transformation of data for scalable analytics, developing and publishing Tableau server dashboards and visualizations, applying state of the art data science approaches to develop analytical solutions providing program insights, working within an agile framework focused on stakeholder outcomes, and recommending process changes to improve efficiency. The position offers a 9/80 work schedule and may include relocation assistance. Basic qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent, US Citizenship with active DoD Secret clearance, ability to obtain SAP approval, proficiency in SQL, Python, ETL processes, dashboard creation, communication skills, and familiarity with version control. Preferred qualifications include experience with Tableau Server, machine learning, cloud platforms, and business process understanding. The role involves travel about 10% of the time and requires a Secret clearance.
