Job Description

As a Transportation Security Officer: Airport Patrol in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support security-related operations, and provide outstanding customer service to travelers and staff. In this government setting, you will remain visible to help discourage incidents, respond to routine concerns, and contribute through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.23 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $4.30. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements:

• 18+ Years of Age
• Valid Drivers License
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public agency representatives as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, public areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and report security-related concerns, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Support orderly operations by documenting incidents, completing required reports, and providing directions or assistance to the public when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
