Job DetailsJob Location: Medford ADC - Medford, NJ 08055Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: NoneSalary Range: $17.50 - $17.50 HourlyTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: AnyJob Category: RetailThe Assistant Donation Services Supervisor assists and supports the Donation Services Supervisor in overseeing and coordinating all functions of collection and distribution of donated goods. The position is a member of the Retail Team. SPECIFIC DUTIES Follow all Goodwill policies and safety procedures, including maintenance of the facility safety log. Must possess professional etiquette. Keep work area and surrounding area neat, clean, and orderly. Interview, train, and supervise ADC Donor Service Associates to accurately handle, sort, stack, and pack all donated assets. All donations are the property of Goodwill. Responsible for proper use and maintenance of manual jacks, electric lifts, and stackers if supplied. Ensure that all attendants are properly trained in the operation of all equipment. Perform training of staff and performs on-site inspections of ADCs. Assist transportation drivers with loading and unloading of truck and notify Donation Services Manager regarding special transportation requests. Provide a positive donation experience to all customers and assist customers with use of kiosk in compliance with established company procedures. Regular attendance is required. Must maintain a clean, neat, personal appearance at all times. All other duties as assigned.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Flexibility to cover other area of Goodwill when needed. Good organization and time management skills. Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs. frequently. Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Ability to engage in prolonged sitting, standing and/or walking. Ability to engage in frequent bending, stooping, and stretching. Vision corrected to within normal limits. Ability to work well in a hectic work environment with occasional periods of high stress.
