Dishwasher duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to the following: Â

 Duties:Â
Maintains a clean kitchen, properly washes and sorts soiled dishes, and preps foods as needed. Keeps dish area free of clutter and organized.Â
Sets up dish stations, including dish-machines and sinks.Â
Maintains clean / dry floors throughout the shift.Â
Properly washes, stacks, and stores china, glassware, silverware, cookware, and storage containers.Â
Change’s water of machines and sinks every two hours, or more often as required by business levels, and properly uses chemical dilutions set by EcoLab.Â
Assists in the timely storing of food deliveries.Â
Maintains trash cans throughout shift and removes full trashcans and boxes at the end of each shift.Â
Assists in maintaining the dry storage area and the organization of storage shelves, including monthly inventory.Â
Follows the posted daily dish cleaning duties.Â
Assists in food prep and any other duties set forth or requested by the chef as needed.Â
Qualification Standards:Â
No experience needed, we will train.Â
Must be able to work irregular hours under heavy stress/pressure during peak timesÂ
Must have time management skillsÂ
Must be able to communicate clearlyÂ
Must lift and carry up to 50 pounds for distances up to 30 feetÂ
Requires frequent reaching, bending, pushing and pullingÂ
Ability to walk up and downstairsÂ
Ability to place plates, utensils, pans and cases on both high and low shelves.Â
Exposure to heat, steam, smoke, cold and odors.Â
Requires continual standing and walkingÂ
Must have reliable transportation and open communication (mobile, email, etc)Â
Must be able to work weekends and holidaysÂ
