Sonic Summary

The position is for an Experienced Outdoor Education Instructor available for temporary weekend coverage on May 1-3 and May 15-17, offering $300 per weekend.
Instructors will work from Friday at 8:00 AM to Sunday at 12:00 PM, with a 90-minute break each day and will spend two nights in a cabin with up to 11 children.
Continued work may be available through the end of the season, and various training opportunities, including Ropes Leads and School Leads, are provided in the first season.
Leadership positions can be attained after completing one season, which come with a pay raise of $280-$325 per week.
Candidates must be 21 or older with prior camp counselor experience and should be adaptable and capable of managing group dynamics effectively.

Schedule:

Instructors Role at Pali:

Safety of children while teaching outdoor education, science, and leadership classes.
Both co-teaching and solo teaching off an accredited lesson plan.
In-cabin overnight with up to 11 children 2-4 nights a week.
Group management of cabin during down time including games of gaga ball, hikes, and tons of other camp games!
