What You'll Do
- Provide direct nursing care in an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) setting
- Administer and document medications according to physician orders
- Monitor resident health status and communicate changes appropriately
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, QIDPs, and interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate documentation within electronic health record systems
- Complete medication counts and monitor medication inventory
- Provide clinical guidance and support to Direct Support Professionals and Medication Technicians
- Participate in care planning and resident advocacy
- Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and resident needs
- Promote resident dignity, independence, and overall well-being
Qualifications
Required
- Active North Carolina LPN License
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Experience with electronic health records
- Valid North Carolina Driver's License
Preferred
- Experience in long-term care, residential care, developmental disabilities, pediatrics, or ICF settings
- CPR/BLS Certification (Adult & Pediatric)
New graduates, nurses transitioning from other healthcare settings, and experienced nurses seeking a more relationship-centered environment are encouraged to apply.
