Job DetailsJob Location: Manufacturing - Russell Springs, KY 42642Job Description:  The Materials Handler is responsible for receiving, moving, storing, issuing, and staging materials, supplies, and finished goods to support safe, accurate, and efficient warehouse and production operations. This role helps ensure materials are available when needed, inventory records remain accurate, and work areas are organized and compliant with company safety standards. First and Second shift positions are available: First shift is 6:45 a.m.–3:15 p.m., Second shift is 2:45 p.m.–11:15 p.m. ET. Duties: Operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment safely to load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials as required. Move materials to designated storage, staging, production, or shipping areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other material-handling equipment. Pick, issue, and deliver materials to production or work areas according to schedules, requisitions, or inventory requests. Organize and maintain warehouse, and production support areas for safety, efficiency, and easy material retrieval. Inspect materials for damage, shortages, or quality concerns and promptly report issues to supervision. Follow all company safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques, equipment inspections, housekeeping, and safe operation of powered industrial equipment. Communicate with production, shipping, receiving, purchasing, and supervision to coordinate material flow and resolve issues. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements: High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous warehouse, manufacturing, shipping/receiving, or material-handling experience preferred. Forklift certification or ability to become certified required; must be able to safely operate a forklift and maintain certification and company authorization throughout employment. Ability to read and understand work orders, labels, packing slips, safety instructions, and inventory documents. Basic math, counting, and recordkeeping skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies, damage, or incorrect materials. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, carry, push, and pull throughout the shift. Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds, with assistance or equipment when required. Ability to work around moving equipment, warehouse traffic, and production activity. Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as assigned. Work Environment: Work is performed in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment. The position may involve exposure to noise, dust, temperature changes, moving machinery, and material-handling equipment. Safety procedures and personal protective equipment requirements must be followed at all times.  .
