Class A or B CDL Bob Truck Driver
Location: Russellville, AR / Dardanelle, AR
Travel: Frequent travel required, including trips lasting 2–3 weeks at a time

About the Role
The Class A or B CDL Bob Truck Driver plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of equipment and materials to job sites while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service. This position requires a dependable driver who can operate commercial vehicles efficiently, perform daily inspections, and comply with all DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and company regulations.
The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically aware, and willing to travel extensively while supporting field operations.
Expected Hours
This position averages approximately 65 hours per week. – Our drivers can earn up to $86,645.00
Please note that weekly hours may vary based on business needs, weather conditions, operational demands, and project schedules. During periods of inclement weather or seasonal slowdowns, available hours may be reduced.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) (Class A preferred but not required)Â
- Clean driving record with no major violationsÂ
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screeningÂ
- Must be at least 23 years of ageÂ
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment background checkÂ
- Must live within a commutable distance of the assigned yardÂ
- Ability to operate manual transmissions (10–18 speed) with no CDL restrictionsÂ
Compensation & Travel
- Competitive hourly pay based on experienceÂ
- Overtime paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rateÂ
- Average of approximately 65 hours per weekÂ
- Company-paid hotel accommodations for overnight travelÂ
- $45.00 per diem for each overnight stayÂ
- Company-paid lunch provided dailyÂ
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience operating bobtail trucks or similar commercial vehiclesÂ
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and minor mechanical repairsÂ
Essential Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks in compliance with FMCSA, OSHA, DOT, and Denali safety standardsÂ
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete Daily Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs)Â
- Load and unload equipment and materials while ensuring cargo is properly securedÂ
- Position vehicles safely at loading and unloading locations using spotters or crew signals when necessaryÂ
- Read maps, GPS systems, and route information to determine the safest and most efficient travel routesÂ
- Couple and uncouple trailers and connect or disconnect air and electrical lines when requiredÂ
- Receive and verify delivery instructions from dispatch, supervisors, or area managersÂ
- Operate Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs), communication equipment, and other required technologyÂ
- Maintain accurate logs, inspection reports, and transportation documentationÂ
- Represent Denali professionally while providing exceptional customer serviceÂ
Safety Expectations
- Follow all Denali, OSHA, DOT, and FMCSA regulations and company safety policiesÂ
- Immediately report unsafe conditions, accidents, or equipment issuesÂ
- Verify that all mechanical, emergency, and safety equipment is functioning properly before operating any vehicleÂ
