The Staff Pad is partnering with a reputed hospital in Russellville, AL to hire a compassionate and skilled Operating Room Circulator RN to join their Surgical Services team.

As an RN Circulator, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care throughout every phase of surgery — from pre-op to post-op — while collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team.

You’ll help maintain sterile technique, ensure surgical readiness, and support safe, positive patient outcomes in a fast-paced OR environment.

Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift + On-Call Rotation

What You’ll Do

  • Provide perioperative nursing care for patients of all ages
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
  • Maintain sterile fields, surgical instruments, and supplies
  • Support surgical and anesthesia teams before, during and after procedures
  • Perform accurate sponge, sharps, and instrument counts in accordance with AORN standards
  • Properly handle and label surgical specimens
  • Maintain up-to-date surgeon preference cards and surgical readiness
  • Mentor and support new staff and nursing students
  • Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety standards

What We’re Looking For

  • Current Alabama RN license (or compact equivalent)
  • BLS, Hospital-based ACLS and PALS required
  • 3+ months of nursing experience preferred
  • OR experience strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills
