Reporting to the Plant Engineering Manager, you will enhance asset reliability across major utility systems, including ammonia refrigeration equipment, boiler and steam systems, wastewater, facilities, and shipping and receiving. You will provide technical support to the maintenance function with a focus on optimizing time‑based preventive maintenance and condition‑based maintenance processes to improve overall equipment effectiveness. You will analyze equipment history, apply statistical analysis, predictive technologies, non‑destructive testing, and structured problem solving to address repetitive and high‑impact equipment failures. You will use data analytics from historical failures and current asset condition to drive measurable improvements in equipment effectiveness and long‑term reliability.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

  • Own the reliability‑centered maintenance program, including defining, designing, facilitating, monitoring, and continuously improving maintenance strategies based on failure modes, effects, consequences, and risk
  • Facilitate reliability‑centered maintenance analysis workshops for the top five percent of facility assets based on critical ranking
  • Apply statistical tools such as Weibull analysis to determine failure rate trends and asset behavior
  • Partner with maintenance planners to develop failure‑mode‑driven maintenance procedures aligned with reliability‑centered maintenance outcomes
  • Collaborate with asset owners and maintenance leadership to gain alignment and endorsement of maintenance strategies
  • Own the root cause analysis program, including program design, facilitation, governance, and continuous improvement
  • Perform bad actor analysis to identify chronic equipment issues and lead root cause analysis to resolve performance, availability, and quality losses
  • Own the asset criticality analysis program to support prioritization of maintenance and reliability efforts
  • Own preventive maintenance evaluation and preventive maintenance optimization programs, including development of human‑factored maintenance procedures
  • Partner with capital delivery and project engineering teams to support design for reliability and design for maintainability in new and modified installations
  • Participate in final inspection, functional testing sign‑off, commissioning, and baseline condition assessments for new equipment
  • Calculate and evaluate asset life‑cycle cost and expected service duration for critical equipment
  • Ensure assets operate at peak performance through life‑cycle cost analysis and reliability improvement planning
  • Own the condition‑based maintenance program, including program design, governance, and execution across vibration analysis, infrared thermography, motor circuit analysis, oil analysis and tribology, ultrasonic emission testing, non‑destructive testing, and visual inspection methods

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
  • Five or more years of maintenance or reliability experience preferred
  • Experience with preventive maintenance and reliability programs
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis tools and reliability software
  • Strong collaboration, facilitation, and cross‑functional communication skills
  • Willingness to obtain certified maintenance and reliability professional and predictive maintenance certifications

Compensation 

Pay Range:$81,000-$118,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
