The Mammography Technologist performs diagnostic mammography procedures in alignment with professional standards, regulatory requirements, and departmental protocols. This position plays a key role in early detection and patient education, ensuring a safe and positive experience for every patient.
How you’ll contribute
- Perform mammography exams, biopsies, stereotactic procedures, and assist with interventional imaging.
- Prepare and administer contrast media or medications within scope, monitoring patient condition throughout.
- Maintain equipment, supplies, imaging parameters, and perform required quality control and safety checks, including MQSA compliance.
- Evaluate image quality, troubleshoot issues, and repeat imaging when necessary.
- Accurately document, transmit, and track imaging results, including Bi RADS follow ups.
What we’re looking for
Associate’s degree preferred
Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology (required)
Arkansas State Radiation Operator License (required)
ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography (required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
