 The Mammography Technologist performs diagnostic mammography procedures in alignment with professional standards, regulatory requirements, and departmental protocols. This position plays a key role in early detection and patient education, ensuring a safe and positive experience for every patient.

 

How you’ll contribute 

  • Perform mammography exams, biopsies, stereotactic procedures, and assist with interventional imaging.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media or medications within scope, monitoring patient condition throughout.
  • Maintain equipment, supplies, imaging parameters, and perform required quality control and safety checks, including MQSA compliance.
  • Evaluate image quality, troubleshoot issues, and repeat imaging when necessary.
  • Accurately document, transmit, and track imaging results, including Bi RADS follow ups. 

 

What we’re looking for 

  • Associate’s degree preferred

  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology (required)

  • Arkansas State Radiation Operator License (required)

  • ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography (required)

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
