Starting Pay: $23.00 with .50 raise at 90 days

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Supervisor to coordinate and oversee the daily operations of a small team of forklift operators within our warehouse facility. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong organizational and communication skills, along with the ability to motivate, train, and mentor team members in a fast-paced environment. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity to ensure all warehouse activities are executed efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct forklift operators to meet daily operational targets 
  • Safely operate a heavy forklift(20ton or larger)
  • Monitor and enforce safety protocols in compliance with company standards 
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and ensure adherence to maintenance schedules 
  • Assist with general warehouse operations to maintain workflow efficiency 
  • Provide training, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment 
  • Ensure accurate inventory tracking and task completion reporting 
  • Verify trailers and equipment are safe to enter prior to loading 
  • Complete shipping documentation and system transitions to ensure shipment and inventory accuracy 
  • Maintain prompt and professional communication with clients, drivers, and guests

 Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of team lead or supervisory experience 
  • Minimum of 3 years of heavy forklift operation experience 
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems (or willingness to learn) 
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts 
  • Valid driver’s license and forklift certification required 
  • Ability to regularly lift 50–75 pounds 
  • Comfortable working in varying temperature conditions
