ASSISTANT-VICTIM-WITNESS PROGRAM

OFFICE OF THE COMMONWEALTH’S ATTORNEY FOR CAMPBELL COUNTY

The office is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Victim-Witness Advocate.  The position is responsible for assisting in providing services in accordance with the Crime Victim and Witness Rights Act. This position requires working directly with victims and witnesses to crimes, excellent interpersonal skills, and an ability to handle stressful and sensitive matters.  Knowledge of word processing systems and an ability to learn office management software will be required.  Prior experience working with domestic violence victims preferred but not required.  This is a grant funded position but has benefits as well as VRS retirement.  Salary is $40,000-$50,000 per year D.O.E.  Position open until filled.
