Job DetailsJob Location: Meadowlands Area YMCA - East Rutherford, NJ 07073Position Type: Full-Time/Part-TimeEducation Level: NoneJob Category: Service Worker Responsibilities will focus on the upkeep and cleanliness of the entire building, including general areas, classrooms, fitness center, locker-rooms and bathrooms. Performing any combination of the following duties: window cleaning, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and overall janitorial duties. Keep immediate supervisor informed of any concerns or problems regarding the facilities. Room set-up and breakdown for events and programs Maintain an organized work space, by taking responsibility for the upkeep of supplies, materials. Work cooperatively with professional staff and other departments. Actively participate in all training sessions, designated meetings and special events. All other miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned by supervisor.   Qualifications   18+ years of age Outgoing, energetic, and engaging, self starter Willing to work part time opening, evenings and weekends Physical Demands: bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., standing, walking, setup and break down of tables and chairs. Low Pressure Boiler Certificate a plus.
