Job Description

We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant dedicated to meeting the needs of our managers and employees by providing swift and accurate service in a professional manner. In this role, you will perform a diverse set of accounting duties following established company policies and procedures.

Service Excellence: Deliver exceptional service to managers and employees by responding promptly and accurately to their needs.

Accounting Operations: Execute a variety of accounting tasks, including daily revenue audits, daily revenue and labor reporting, posting relevant entries in accounting, point of sale, and property management systems, accounts receivable billing and accounts payable support. Support all on site accounting functions in collaboration with Accounting Manager, as applicable.

Documentation and Reporting: Prepare reports and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Adherence to Policies: Follow established company policies and procedures while performing accounting duties.

Flexibility: Undertake additional accounting tasks as required to support the smooth operation of financial processes.

Qualifications:
 

  • Strong excel and reconciliation skills
  • Experience with Google Sheets, Google Drive a plus
  • Strong accounting aptitude and related audit skills
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills with proven ability to work with others while creating positive relationships on behalf of the company
  • Proficiency in computers and information technology
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • High School diploma or equivalent education required
  • 2+ years of accounting experience in hospitality
  • +Proficiency in hospitality and accounting software; SMS, Touch, Great Plains a plus
