Our Emergency Department is a rural, 20-bed unit serving Rutherford County and surrounding communities with responsive, patient-centered emergency care. This is a great environment for an ED nurse who enjoys variety, critical thinking, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a close-knit community hospital setting. Nurses care for patients across a wide range of acuity levels and work closely with providers, ancillary departments, and inpatient teams to support timely assessment, treatment, stabilization, and transition of care. How you’ll contributeÂ
A Registered Nurse who excels in this role:Â
• Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments and identifies patient needsÂ
• Initiates appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings
 • Provides age- and condition-appropriate nursing careÂ
• Completes timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity in the medical recordÂ
• Develops, implements, and revises interdisciplinary care plans for each patient

What we’re looking forÂ
• Current North Carolina or compact state RN license requiredÂ
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hireÂ
•Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 90 days of hireÂ
• Associate’s degree in nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferredÂ
• One year of RN experience as an Emergency Department RN required.
