We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join our in-office team. Please note this is not a remote or hybrid role. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in the IT field, possess the ability to quickly learn new technologies, and work collaboratively in a team environment. This role will be responsible for working directly with internal and external team members to diagnose and resolve all IT service requests.Â
Responsibilities
- Act as a first point of contact for all end users on IT-related requests
- Coordinate, schedule, and complete whenever possible all IT support tickets to expedite troubleshooting and resolutions
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to keep them informed on service ticket progress
- Resolve incoming Level 1 & 2 service requests and see them through to completion, escalate to team members as necessary
- Perform on-site hardware repairs & new software installations as necessary
- Responsible for executing all IT-related onboarding and offboarding of team members (hardware and software)
- Inventory and tech-stack management
- Take ownership and be a self-starter with assigned tasks as part of a team to meet and improve business technology needs
Professional Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Level 1 support technician
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and task management skills
- Prior working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, networking, video conferencing, web-based and cloud applications is preferred
- Proven experience testing and recommending software solutions
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency and possess the ability to troubleshoot IT issues quickly and efficiently
- Must demonstrate a customer-centric approach at all times
- Knowledge of current IT trends and solutions
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet daily goals and deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills are a must
- Demonstrate an enthusiastic positive attitude
- Ability to work primarily from the Rye Brook, NY office, travel to the Midtown Manhattan office approximately once per week, and occasional travel to project sites or other company locations as business needs require
- IT Certifications are a plus

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be performed in the Boston market. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Schimenti’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $55,000 - $70,000 base salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and specific performance awards. In addition, Schimenti provides a variety of comprehensive benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, and paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
