Who We Are

At Kyndryl, we design, build, manage and modernize the mission-critical technology systems that the world depends on every day. So why work at Kyndryl? We are always moving forward – always pushing ourselves to go further in our efforts to build a more equitable, inclusive world for our employees, our customers and our communities.

The Role

A proposition is a packaged consulting offer — the problem it solves, the evidence it works, what it costs, how it's priced, the story that goes with it and everything a consultant needs to sell it. We have a prioritized set across three portfolios, launching twelve to sixteen a year and refreshing the rest on a quarterly cycle.

You are the person who takes one from an idea to something a consultant in any of our priority markets can pick up and sell.

That means running propositions through our lifecycle method: the intake criteria that decide whether an idea is worth pursuing, the stage gates it has to pass, the quality bar it has to clear, and the toolkit it has to arrive with. It means orchestrating everyone who contributes — subject matter experts, offering teams, marketing, go-to-market, learning and development — under a single brief, so that the person sponsoring the proposition has one hand to shake rather than six.

You will work closely with our proposition leaders, who inevitably own the success of the proposition: they own its strategy, they sponsor it, and they carry its commercial performance. You own the method by which it gets built, governed and taken to market. That separation is deliberate — it's how we hold one consistent standard across three portfolios — and it means your influence comes from the quality of the process and your credibility with the leaders, not from formal authority over their offers.

What you'll do

  • Take assigned propositions through the full lifecycle — intake, build, gate reviews, launch and refresh — on a schedule you hold

  • Build and quality-check the toolkit each proposition launches with: the client-facing narrative, qualification guidance, proof points, competitive positioning and the commercial inputs assembled with our Commercial Excellence team

  • Orchestrate the contributing teams under one brief and keep them moving to a shared date

  • Prepare gate reviews and make sure nothing advances a stage without documented sign-off

  • Run the quarterly refresh cycle for your propositions and close the loop from what we're learning in wins and losses

  • Watch your portfolio for overlap, white space and offers that should be retired, and bring recommendations to your Executive Portfolio Strategist

  • Work closely with the narrative, enablement, commercial and operations teams — you sit at the centre of all four

Portfolio focus — Modernization. This line covers the propositions that help clients modernize their core technology estate — applications, data, infrastructure, mainframe and cloud — and connects to our industry-specific offers. Familiarity with enterprise modernization programs is a strong advantage.

How success is measured

Your propositions launch ready and on schedule; no stage advances without documented sign-off; toolkits are complete and pass the quality bar at gate; the refresh cadence holds. Over time, and shared with the wider team: how much your propositions are actually used in market, how many markets are actively selling them, and the pipeline and signings attributed to them.

Kyndryl currently does not require employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, however, if you are hired to work at a client, customer, or partner location, you may be required to show proof of vaccination to align with their respective COVID-19 vaccination policies.  Those who believe they are eligible may apply for a medical or religious accommodation prior to the start of employment.

Who You Are

What you'll bring

  • Experience in offering or product strategy, product marketing, proposition development, or a consulting role that involved building and launching a repeatable offer

  • Evidence you can run a structured lifecycle or stage-gate process and hold people to it without stalling them

  • Strong written craft — you can turn a technical capability into something a client would actually want to buy

  • The ability to orchestrate senior contributors across functions with no authority over any of them

  • Comfort working to a date, with several propositions live at once

  • Enough technical fluency to hold a credible conversation with practice experts about what an offer really does

What would set you apart

  • Background at a large consulting, professional services or technology services firm

  • Domain depth in the relevant portfolio — enterprise modernization for Requisition A, AI and data for Requisition B

  • Experience with commercial and pricing inputs to an offer

  • Experience with competitive positioning and win/loss analysis
