About the Role:

Payment Solutions is responsible for handling most payment-related processes for the credit union along with actively participating in organizational and team initiatives and projects. The team is responsible for transaction processing through various channels including ACH, checks, wire transfers and cards. 

The Payment Solutions Team Leader II is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, compliant payment operations while supporting service quality, risk mitigation and team performance.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Coaching and developing team members including monitoring quality and productivity, providing timely feedback, managing workload, conducting one-on-one and team meetings and providing performance reviews.
  • Supporting employee engagement and cross-training
  • Managing daily workflow to ensure service level agreements are met and critical processing is completed in a timely manner
  • Serving as the primary point of escalation for non-routine issues and reviewing and approving high-risk transactions.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements including providing a business case and requirements prior to implementation. 
  • Supporting internal and external audits
  • Developing and issuing operational and transactional metric reporting
  • Assisting with daily work processing based on volume
  • Attending and participating in meetings as required
  • Participating in departmental and organizational projects
  • Performing other departmental duties as assigned

Who You Are:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a financial institution with familiarity with payment operations such as ACH, wires, checks and cards
  • Supervisory or team lead experience is strongly preferred
  • Ability to manage time, establish priorities and observe critical processing time frames 
  • Ability to remain flexible and deal with changes in responsibility 
  • Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to analyze data and generate reports and provide recommendations
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively with team members and departments

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary/hourly range for this position is $66,950.00 - $85,361.25, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential incentives. This position is also eligible for an annual corporate bonus. If you are hired at USALLIANCE Federal Credit Union, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part is any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package.
