Requirements

  Overview 

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, including literacy, math, social-emotional skills, and physical activity.
  • Use learning management systems (LMS) and instructional design principles to organize lesson plans and track student progress effectively.
  • Incorporate specialized techniques such as preschool best practices to support diverse learning styles and needs.
  • Manage classroom environments to ensure safety, engagement, and positive behavior management while maintaining clear communication with children and families.
  • Adapt teaching strategies for children with disabilities or special education needs, working closely with specialists when necessary.
  • Utilize learning technology tools to enhance instruction and monitor developmental milestones.
  • Foster a nurturing atmosphere that encourages curiosity, independence, and social skills through creative activities and play-based learning.
  • Hours: 11:30 AM - 5:30 PM

 

Experience

  • Prior classroom experience working with infants or in early childhood education settings is essential.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and curriculum development techniques.
  • Experience with classroom management strategies that promote positive behavior and conflict resolution.
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms, instructional design, and integrating learning technology into daily activities.
  • Strong communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and specialists.
  • Previous work in private schools or preschool environments is preferred.
  • Certification in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable; additional training in special education or Frog Street is a plus.
