What You’ll Do
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will support individuals with developmental disabilities to live meaningful, independent lives while promoting their health, safety, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow and support Individual Program Plans (IPP/ISP)
Assist with daily routines using visual and active supports
Encourage socialization and participation in community activities
Assist with personal care (grooming, hygiene, dressing, bathroom needs)
Prepare meals and assist with clean-up
Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy living environment
Transport individuals to appointments, activities, and family visits (company vehicle)
Observe, document, and report incidents or concerns
Communicate daily with administrators
Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year experience working in a residential facility with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities
At least 1 year of professional or personal caregiving experience
Valid California Driver’s License
Ability to pass all pre-employment requirements, including a background check
Preferred (or willing to obtain):
DSP Certificate Year 1 & Year 2
CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) – within 6 months
First Aid & CPR – within 30 days of hire
Physical Requirements
Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
