The Assistant Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the Sales Manager at the Branch location by championing key organizational initiatives focused on enhancing sales productivity. This dynamic individual actively contributes to the development of strategies aimed at improving sales processes while collaboratively leading a team of Outside Sales Representatives. Their efforts are integral to driving customer satisfaction initiatives across the sales team, ensuring a cohesive and effective approach to achieving overall sales and organizational success.Â
Duties and ResponsibilitiesÂ
Assists to ensures the sales team provides a thorough, effective and professional presentation to each customerÂ
Assists in the training and development of Outside Sales Representatives to meet individual, branch and company sales targetsÂ
Assists to ensure team possess product knowledge, understanding of marketing techniques and the ability to relate to customer needsÂ
Conducts ride-a-longs with Outside Sales Representatives to improve techniques and processesÂ
Assists in handling customer concernsÂ
Leads by example and represents the brand with confidence and professionalismÂ
Runs warm leads and prospects own book of businessÂ
It is an essential function of this job that the employee regularly and reliably reports to work on time each working day. Â

QualificationsÂ
In-home sales experience preferred, but not requiredÂ
2-3 years of experience leading a team of sales individualsÂ
Exceptional communication and problem-solving skillsÂ
Strong work ethic, integrity, humility and desire to build an industry-leading sales teamÂ
Proven leadership ability to influence, develop and empower team to achieve objectives with a strong team focus and approachÂ
Superior knowledge of sales techniquesÂ
Highly organized and efficientÂ
