Responsibilities

Heritage Oaks Hospital is a freestanding, 125-bed acute psychiatric hospital dedicated to serving the greater Sacramento area. We provide treatment to teens, adults and seniors living with mental health challenges.

 

Here at Heritage Oaks Hospital  we are seeking a Director of Food & Nutrition Services to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for following State, Federal and Joint Commission standards for the dietary department. Prepare menus for balanced and nutritional meals that will be served to patients and supervise the food preparation. Perform personnel management duties including screening and selection of dietary staff, providing department orientation and training, completing performance evaluations, and giving feedback to Human Resources office. Must be a Registered Dietician.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's of Science degree in Food and Nutrition or Dietetics required.

 

Experience: Three (3) years of demonstrated responsible food service management experience, with at least two (2) years in a management/supervisory role.

 

Licensure: Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and state licensure required.
