Who we are:

Mark III is a full-service construction company comprised of three complementary business units: M3 MEP, M3 Service, and M3 Components. We support projects from initial concept through long-term maintenance, with specialized expertise in healthcare, data centers, higher education, industrial, life science, and technology markets.

Our integrated, big-picture approach allows us to self-perform electrical, HVAC, plumbing, process piping, prefabrication, and MEP design. By consolidating these services under one organization, clients benefit from reduced profit layers, minimized scope gaps, and simplified project schedules—working with a single, accountable partner rather than multiple consultants and subcontractors.

Headquartered in Sacramento, California, Mark III operates throughout California and Nevada. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility serves as a centralized hub supporting five core trades: HVAC, mechanical piping, plumbing, electrical, and metal-stud framing. To support our continued growth, we will be relocating from our current combined 62,000 square feet of office and operational space to a new 340,000-square-foot headquarters at 2031 Optisolar Lane, with the move planned for completion by the end of Q3 2026.

The Electrical Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management and successful delivery of assigned electrical construction projects, from preconstruction through closeout. This role manages project scope, schedule, budget, and quality, and provides direct supervision to Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and project support staff.

The Project Manager works closely with Superintendents and field leadership to ensure safe, on-schedule, and profitable project execution, and serves as a key point of contact for clients and project stakeholders on a day-to-day basis.

Operational Leadership

  • Manage assigned electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Support review of contract terms and conditions.
  • Lead project kickoff meetings and develop project execution plans.
  • Coordinate project mobilization, staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation, aligning subcontractors, material procurement, and crew deployment to meet milestone dates.
  • Conduct project reviews evaluating safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance.

  • Ensure project teams adhere to company standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Actively support company safety initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory and company safety standards on assigned projects.
  • Support the use of prefabrication, VDC, Lean construction principles, and other tools to improve project outcomes.

Financial Management

  • Manage project budget, cost tracking, and forecasting to protect margin from contract award through final billing, including revenue, gross profit, labor productivity, and cash flow.
  • Identify scope gaps, enforce subcontract terms, and escalate/implement corrective actions before issues become financial exposure.
  • Prepare project budgets, change orders, and forecasts for review and approval.
  • Manage purchasing decisions within assigned authority.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Supervise and mentor Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and project support staff.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the project team.
  • Partner with Superintendents, Foremen, and field leadership on labor productivity, workforce planning, and execution.

Client Relations
