Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Manager to join our team at New Dawn Treatment Center in Sacramento/Roseville, CA. This role is vital in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our mission of clinical excellence. As a Nurse Manager, you will play an essential role in enhancing the lives of our clients through dedicated nursing practices.


Responsibilities

  • Seeing detox clients in person daily, at each site.  
  • Support the supervision of Recovery Advocates and Staff Nurses 
  • Monitors staffing levels and flexes staff accordingly.  
  • Provide leadership on the floor and respond to emergency situations promptly.  
  • Serves as the point of contact for staff about questions and concerns during assigned shifts, escalating to the DON when appropriate 
  • Monitoring all medication refill orders. 
  • Support and help facilitate monthly training, refreshers, and individual coaching sessions.  
  • Monitor the completion of shift wrap-ups and EMR documentation.  
  • Completing medication administration as needed.  
  • Destroying controlled mediations as needed.  
  • Performs client intakes. 
  • Completes routine clinical audits when needed.  
  • Assisting clients with EED paperwork.  
  • Managing client transportation on weekends as needed. 
  • Other duties as assigned 


Qualifications

  • Active California LVN, LPT or RN license 
  • At least one year of experience in detox, residential treatment or related healthcare setting preferred. 
  • Must have and maintain a valid California driver’s license, clean driving record, and maintain personal auto insurance coverage. 
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications are required. 
  • Must have a current TB test or chest x-ray. 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. 
  • Ability to work well and quickly under pressure both individually and as part of a team.  
  • Excellent project management skills to consistently meet deadlines. 
  • Strong organizational skills with superior attention to detail 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
