We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant with experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting to join a supportive healthcare team in Sacramento. Job Responsibilities:
• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients in a Skilled Nursing Facility
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility activities under supervision
• Monitor patient progress and report changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and mobility techniques
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments and patient progress
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and state regulations




Requirements

• Active state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in California
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Minimum of 6 months of recent PTA experience within the last 5 years preferred
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or geriatric setting is a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
