Flowly Solutions is seeking to hire a full time Production Chemist to support our metal finishing department. In this role, you will be directly responsible for the stability of our chemical plating baths and the oversight of our wastewater treatment systems.

This position offers plenty of opportunities for overtime and room for advancement in the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Performing frequent sampling and analysis of process tanks to measure pH, metal concentration and conductivity levels
Completing critical pH changes, chemical additions to avoid production defects and variation
Monitor rinse tanks and wastewater treatment systems to make sure they meet our strict production standards
Overseeing inventory levels and managing bulk chemical storage
Accurately calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure complete reliability of measurement results
Maintaining and submitting reports related to maintenance and chemical analysis
Strictly following safety procedures including hazardous material handling, chemical storage and PPE usage
Ensuring the lab and storage stations remain clean and organized

Qualifications and Requirements:

Proven hands on experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in plating or anodizing
A strong understanding of plating bath chemistry
Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on safety when handling hazardous materials
The ability to lift 50 pounds throughout the shift
Strong computer literacy and experience using software

Compensation and Schedule:

This position is full time, Monday through Friday
Working hours from 7:00am - 4:00pm
Potential optional overtime is available
Pay rate ranges from $24.00 to $32.00 per hour depending on experience
