Job Summary and Responsibilities

1. Deliver direct patient care with professionalism, compassion, and efficiency.2. Provide in-service education as needed, identify staff development needs, and offer ongoingmentorship and guidance.3. Assist rehabilitation management with the development and maintenance of brain injury programsand participate in program initiatives.4. Deliver psychological interventions, including individual and family counseling, psychoeducation,and emotional and behavioral support.5. Develop strategies to address patients’ emotional and behavioral concerns.6. Participate in program development, identify staff development needs, and provide in-serviceeducation.

Job Requirements

Education Requirements: Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology, or closely related.Experience Requirements: 12 months in the job offered, NeuroRehabilitation Psychology Postdoctoral Fellow, DoctoralLevel Psychology Intern, or closely related.

Special skills requirements:

Conduct psychological and cognitive assessments across inpatient rehabilitation, medical/surgical, and outpatient settings for individuals with traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, burns, encephalopathy, cancer, and other complex conditions.

Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based practices and Person-Centered Therapy.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams by presenting assessment findings, treatment plans, and progress updates in medical meetings.

Contribute to program development and deliver staff in-service education.

Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and provide medical consultation.

Administer, score, and interpret psychological and neuropsychological assessments, producing integrated clinical reports.

Must have a Psychologist License from the State of California Board of Psychology.

Salary: $131,757 /year

Work Schedule: 40 hours/week
