Scheduler/Dispatcher – Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT)
Serving Northern California Communities for Over 40 Years

We are a well-established NEMT company proudly serving numerous counties in Northern California for over four decades. We are currently seeking a Scheduler/Dispatcher to join our fast-paced team. This position plays a critical role in coordinating transportation for patients—many of whom may be elderly, disabled, or require wheelchairs or gurneys—to and from medical appointments and other engagements.


We welcome candidates looking for full-time or part-time work and offer flexibility where possible.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain clear, consistent communication with drivers, clients, and medical facilities.
  • Efficiently schedule and dispatch NEMT drivers and vehicles to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.
  • Utilize dispatch software (e.g., MediRoutes) to monitor trip status and respond to schedule changes or issues.
  • Provide empathetic and effective customer service, especially when interacting with patients who may have special needs.
  • Resolve scheduling challenges and adapt to changing conditions or emergencies.
  • Accurately document operational activities in compliance with company policies.



Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) – Preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize duties, and work independently or collaboratively
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, GPS, and mobile applications
  • Positive attitude, empathy, and professionalism when interacting with clients
  • Previous dispatch or scheduling experience is a plus, but not required – we are willing to train the right candidate
