This position will be part of the Population Health Team within Information Systems. This person will be primary with initiatives around areas like HCC, ACO, Medicare Advantage, Medicare, HEDIS, Care Management (i.e. Complex Case Management, Transition Care Management, etc.) and overall Value Based Care programs at Sutter.Epic modules: Healthy Planet and Compass Rose
Certification highly desired in Healthy Planet
Provides architectural and technical guidance to product development in order to better ensure sound engineering design, process, and quality practices are followed. Oversees software, hardware and infrastructure design. The position may include ownership of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), continual integration process and tools, to deliver finished, high quality, and compelling products. Builds and leads the software, hardware and infrastructure development group while ensuring the Sutter Health Information Services (IS) technical standardization vision is incorporated into all aspects of Sutter Health's services and solutions. Is responsible for organizational balance and system coherency between build/buy scenarios requiring a flexible architecture for internal development and application integration.

EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
- Bachelor's: Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years of recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Extensive knowledge and experience with industry development languages and frameworks.
- Working knowledge of networking architecture and other protocols.
- Working knowledge of secure coding practices, thread modeling, and vulnerability assessments.
- Proficient knowledge of object-oriented programming, client/server, scripting, portal technology, web architecture and development.
- Extensive knowledge of designing, developing, and implementing large-scale system projects.
- Perform effectively in environments with frequent and fluctuating workload changes, competing demands, and frequent interruptions and/or distractions.
- Set priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities and prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner.
- Analyze information, problems, situations, practices, or procedures in order to identify patterns, tendencies, and relationships resulting in the formulation of logical and objective conclusions.
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with audiences across all areas and levels within Sutter Health as well as external organizations.
- Verbal and writing skills to effectively communicate with diverse groups such as: executives, managers, and subject matter experts.

Pay Range is $126,256.00 to $189,384.00 / annual salaryThe compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
