Patient Transport/Driver (Part-time)

Sierra Vista Hospital is seeking a Patient Transport/Driver for the Outpatient Department. If you're passionate about working in the behavioral health setting and have the desire to work with a team of healthcare professionals dedicated to serving our patients, we want to hear from you!

Licensure: Maintains a valid, Class C driver’s license with a commercial passenger endorsement with a clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).  Class B preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position provides transportation of patients to and from the facility providing continuous observation, interaction, and role modeling to the patients while maintaining safety at all times.  This position includes clerical support as needed.

Education:   High school graduate, or equivalent. 

Additional Requirements:  Must be 21 years or older and have a good driving record as obtained from the Department of Motor Vehicles.  Must have current certification in CPR and be trained in the Hospital’s recognized assaultive behavior training within the first 30 days of employment.
