Hajoca Corporation is one of the country’s largest privately-held wholesale distributors of plumbing, heating & cooling, and industrial supplies. Founded in 1858, Hajoca is a company based on the principles of “Service, Integrity, Reliability,” and on relationships of trust and support with teammates, customers, and suppliers. Throughout its history, Hajoca has played an active role in shaping advances in plumbing. However, we attribute our success to two simple truths; a unique business philosophy and talented people. Hajoca is all about the people, who give us our advantage, and who will guide us successfully into the future.
Although Hajoca is a large company, we work in a decentralized environment where each of our locations, called Profit Centers (PCs), is run by the Profit Center Manager as if it were their own small business. A typical Profit Center is the heart of our business and consists of a warehouse, counter, sales office, and (sometimes) a showroom. Our PCs conduct business under unique trade names and offer a customized business approach, honoring what’s special about each local marketplace.
Heieck Supply is one of those trade names and is looking for a Sales & Service Representative at their Sacramento, CA location.
Pay for Sales & Service Representative is between $28.00 and $34.00 per hour at this location.

-
Accurately enter sales orders, bids, returns and customer commitments.
-
Verify product, quantity, unit of measure, price, availability, ship date and delivery requirements before making commitments.
-
Create routine customer quotations and coordinate complex commercial opportunities with the Commercial Sales & Quotations Specialist.

Own customer concerns involving pricing, shortages, damaged material, returns, delivery or order accuracy through resolution.
-
Follow up after resolving an issue to confirm customer satisfaction.
-
Maintain accurate customer notes, follow-up dates, opportunities and next actions.
-
Support warehouse, order-staging and delivery-coordination activities when business needs require.
-
Support sales activities and other Profit Center priorities as part of the Heieck team.
-
Communicate business or account changes that could create credit risk to the Profit Center Manager and Credit Manager.
-
Complete required safety and compliance training.
-
Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Also
-
Demonstrate integrity, urgency, accountability and consistent follow-through.

Build positive working relationships with customers, vendors and teammates.
-
Demonstrate the product knowledge needed to answer questions and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

-
Be willing to learn to operate warehouse material-handling equipment when required.
