Job DetailsJob Location: Sacramento Regional Program Center - Sacramento, CA 95819Position Type: SeasonalSalary Range: $25.00 - $25.00 HourlyThe Seasonal Membership Recruiter is responsible for generating new girl and adult membership within assigned geographic areas during the council’s peak recruitment season. This field-based role focuses on community outreach, school engagement, lead follow-up, and relationship building to meet established membership goals. This is a seasonal, part-time position supporting the council’s primary recruitment period, which is mid March through October.  Execute local recruitment plans to generate new girl and volunteer leads Conduct outreach through schools, community events, tabling opportunities, and presentations Follow up on leads via phone, email, text, and in-person meetings to convert interest into membership Promote the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to families and community partners Build and maintain relationships with school staff, community leaders, and volunteers Track recruitment activity and maintain accurate records in council systems Meet individual and team membership goals Support recruitment events, rallies, and special initiatives as assigned Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Experience in sales, outreach, community engagement, or customer service preferred Strong communication and relationship-building skills Comfortable with public speaking and presenting to families or community groups Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Valid California driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance Commitment to the Girl Scouts mission and values   WORK ENVIRONMENT & SCHEDULE Frequent local travel within the council service area Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends Ability to lift up to 25 pounds  GSHCC Community Statement Girl Scouts Heart of Central California (GSHCC) is a girl-centric and performance-driven community.
