Direct Hire Physical Therapist Assistant Role $68,993 per year in Sacramento, California

This is a DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY (not contract).
Key Responsibilities:
路 Provides direct patient care to patients ages 55 and up under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to improve patient movement and function, applying exercises, manual therapy, and therapeutic modalities
路 Observe patients during therapy, record their progress, and report findings to the PT for review and adjustments to the treatment plan.
路 Implement treatment plans prescribed by the supervising PT by performing exercises, stretching, balance training, and gait training
路 Apply physical agents like heat, cold, or electrical stimulation to specific muscles or joints as directed by the PT.
路 Occasionally assist patients with DME set-up
Key Requirements:
路 Associate鈥檚 Degree from an APTA-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program in Physical Therapy
路 Active, unencumbered licensure in the state of practice
路 A minimum of one (1) year of experience working with the elderly
路 Bilingual is a huge plus
Compensation and Schedule:
路 Salary starts at $69K but can be considerably higher based on years of experience
路 Comprehensive benefits plan
路 Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM
路 Paid holidays and NO weekends
