Job Summary

MacLean-Fogg is hiring a Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift at our Saegertown, Pennsylvania manufacturing facility. In this role, you will lead daily production operations, develop employees, and drive safe, efficient performance across quality, output, and workflow. You will also coordinate production needs across teams while supporting continuous improvement.

  • Location: Saegertown, PA

  • Work Arrangement: On-site

  • Schedule: 2nd Shift, 2:00 PM-11:30 PM

  • Pay: $57,000-$93,000 per year

  • Employment Type: Full-time / Salary

What You'll Do as a Production Supervisor

  • Lead and supervise production employees to meet established production, quality, safety, and schedule expectations.

  • Provide guidance, coaching, training, and ongoing support to employees to strengthen skills and performance.

  • Monitor production output and performance for assigned areas, helping ensure quantity, quality, and efficiency targets are met.

  • Coordinate work across shifts and departments to maintain consistent workflow and meet production deadlines.

  • Identify equipment issues and work with maintenance or engineering teams when repairs or preventive maintenance are needed to minimize production downtime.

  • Oversee inventory levels in the assigned area and coordinate with production planning to help ensure materials are available to meet operational requirements.

  • Maintain product quality by overseeing quality-control activities and collaborating with quality teams while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality requirements.

  • Reinforce 5S principles, support continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure production documentation such as shift reports, inventory records, and safety audits is completed accurately and on time.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This role is performed in a production or manufacturing environment and involves standing and walking for extended periods. The position also requires bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
