Position Summary: We’re seeking an entry-level Heavy Equipment Apprentice with 1–3 years of mechanical or hydraulic experience to support maintenance and repair operations in our hydraulic distribution and repair facility.

This role is ideal for candidates looking to build a career working on hydraulic systems, industrial equipment, and heavy machinery in a hands-on shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and mechanical equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
• Replace hoses, seals, bearings, fittings, and other components
• Read basic hydraulic schematics and technical manuals
• Support equipment assembly, testing, and installation
• Maintain clean and safe work areas
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation

Preferred Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in heavy equipment, industrial maintenance, automotive, diesel, or hydraulic repair
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical systems
• Basic understanding of hydraulic systems preferred
• Ability to work safely in an industrial environment
• Valid driver’s license required

Preferred Certifications

• OSHA 10
• Forklift Certification
• Hydraulic or mechanical training programs

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Stand, bend, kneel, and work in shop environments
• Work indoors and outdoors around industrial equipment
