We specialize in Geotechnical, Environmental, Natural Resources, Cultural Resources and Construction Material Testing services.  We are seeking a Field Scientist to support the professional and technical environmental team. Responsibilities include environmental consulting projects, including air monitoring for asbestos, lead, and mold abatement, as well as conducting site inspections and sampling of soil, groundwater, and soil vapor. The role involves maintaining accurate field documentation, assisting with data evaluation and reporting, and occasionally representing the field team at project meetings. Candidates should have a related technical degree or relevant industry experience, be physically capable of fieldwork, and be open to travel and flexible scheduling. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform air sampling services for asbestos, lead and mold abatement projects. Perform asbestos, lead-based paint, and mold inspections. Perform soil, groundwater, and soil vapor sampling activities. Ensure that all daily field records are complete and accurate.  Occasionally attend project meetings as a representative of the field team.   Assist as needed in the preparation of work plans, data evaluation and report preparation. Qualifications Minimum of a Bachelor degree in related technical discipline (biology, geology, hydrology, soil science, ecology, earth science, or environmental science) or experience in the asbestos, environmental consulting, or construction industry. Employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Must have reliable transportation and enjoy working outside. Must be available for out-of-town, overtime, evening, and weekend work as needed. Must possess the ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
