Location: Blank Canvas Studio
The Program Director is responsible for ensuring the creation of an environment conducive to the provision of service for the individuals supported by the program, including providing supervision to ensure adherence to program regulations. The Program Director is held accountable for ensuring that the program is managed and held to the highest standards. This includes clinical quality, quality assurance, financial management, funder requirements, recruitment and retention, communications, compliance, revenue cycle, and general program operations. Essential Duties and Functions
Leadership, Staff Management and Organizational Strategy
- Supervises program staff maintain an organizational culture and services whereÂ
professionalism, quality care, employee engagement and empowerment, and services thatÂ
further RHD's values are recognized and rewarded.
- Â Develops and monitors program using metrics to ensure quality staff support, oversight,Â
and development throughout the program.
- Develops and monitors program using KPI metrics to ensure quality staff support,
oversight, and development throughout the program.
- Â Ensures program is filling staff vacancies in partnership with TARs and HR teams
- Maintain appropriate staffing ratios in accordance with state guidelines
- Develop creative curriculum and structured activities that foster skill development, self expression, and community engagement through art-based cultural initiatives.
• Oversees and participates in the recruitment, hiring, training, evaluation, and disciplinaryÂ
process for all employees.Â
• Ensures program is filling staffing vacancies in partnership with the HR Team.Â
Quality Assurance
• Ensures that all consumers have current and appropriate ISP’s or treatment plans inÂ
place.
• Ensure compliance with MO DMH regulations, Medicaid waiver standards, and Office ofÂ
Licensure and Certification requirements.
• Oversee documentation, service delivery records, and incident reporting and ensureÂ
compliance and reporting regulations are maintained
Finance, Development, and Other Operations
• Works with program team, service coordination team, and revenue cycle team to ensureÂ
that all individuals supported have current authorizations and that all services andÂ
related notes are entered into the electronic health record timely and according toÂ
policy. Assists in the resolution of outstanding/unpaid services and claims.
• Oversee participant admissions, assessments, and service planning while collaboratingÂ
with families, guardians, case managers, and other planning team members
• Address behavioral, medical, and/or safety concerns in coordination with supportÂ
planning team members to ensure participant health, safety, and dignity at all times
• Maintain art supplies, equipment, and studio safety standards
• Build partnerships with local arts organizations, galleries, and community agencies toÂ
promote participant artwork through exhibits, events, and other community engagementÂ
events.
Qualifications
• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with a major in human services or businessÂ
management
• 3 years of experience in a human service agency, which included supervision of others,Â
direct service and program planning. Masters preferred. Spanish speaking and ASLÂ
preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of and compliance with the State Regulations and Medicaid Waiver Guidelines
• Ability to effectively use computers, pertinent technology, and mobile devices
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in written formÂ
• Ability to support and implement RHD values and beliefs
• Ability to engage clients and staff in effective, therapeutic, and healthy interactionsÂ
• Criminal record clearances, as dictated by the assigned programs
