Schedule: 1st shift - Monday-Thursday 5am-3pm

What You'll Do:

• Inspection and diagnosis: Thoroughly inspecting diesel engines and related systems to identify malfunctions, using diagnostic tools to pinpoint problems.
• Repair and maintenance: Performing repairs on diesel engines, including replacing worn parts like pistons, bearings, valves, and gaskets, as well as routine maintenance like oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotations.
• Troubleshooting: Analyzing diagnostic data to identify the root cause of engine issues and developing repair plans.
• Part replacement: Ordering and installing necessary replacement parts for repairs.
• Testing and quality control: Performing test drives to verify repairs and ensure proper vehicle operation.
• Documentation: Maintaining detailed repair records and work orders.
• Technical knowledge: Staying updated on the latest diesel engine technologies and repair procedures.
• Personal attendance record should remain in compliance with company guidelines.
• Able to work overtime as assigned.

What We Need from You:

• Must be able to wear required PPE
• Must have diesel mechanic experience
• This position requires you to provide your own tools for daily tasks
• Strong mechanical aptitude
