An Inventory Analyst is responsible for determining interchanges, optimal stocking levels and maintenance for store changeovers. Â You will be required to travel to changeover locations throughout the mid-west to be the Inventory Lead and provide leadership and guidance to action inventory specific initiatives. Â
This position will be highly collaborative working with cross functional teams and will require a proactive and professional who takes ownership of his/her responsibilities and willingness to help other areas within the organization.Â
JOB DUTIES:
- Execute a store changeover within the given timeline and milestonesÂ
- Maintain desired inventory levels and assortments.
- Responsible for weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports as requested.
- Responsible for the management of excess and obsolescence.
- Responsible for identifying slow moving products and end of life cycle for replenishment strategies.
- Responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements as required.
- Automate and improve legacy processes and data tools.
- Identify and react to trends, seasonal changes.
- Provide timely and accurate information to incoming requests from internal customers, such as product information and availability.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Maintain accuracy in reporting, data handling and in conveying information. Â
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for positive interactions with colleagues and customers. Â
- Adhere to conversion schedules and deadlines.
- Automotive knowledge preferred
- Proven knowledge of inventory management and systems
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Access and able to manage large data sets using filters, v-Lookups, and pivot tables. Â SQL query experience a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem solving ability.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Occasional overnight travel required to support store changeovers as Inventory Lead on Project.
