POSITION GOAL:  Will maintain an accurate inventory of parts at the designated locations and will be responsible for moving inventory to and from the receiving docks, expediting when appropriate.

Hours of this position are:

1st Shift Monday - Friday; 6:30am - 3:00pm

2nd Shift Monday - Thursday; 4:00pm to 2:30am

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

·         Maintain a safe work environment; adhere to safety policies, procedures and processes.

·         Operates forklift, walkie rider, and other material handling equipment to move parts to point of use on production floor.  Expedite parts when needed.

·         Set up material storage racks, bins, carts, etc. for proper storage online to prevent damage or loss.

·         Create and maintain bins and drop areas for part deliveries and removal.

·         Support assembly technicians in lifting and moving of materials on production floor.

·         Accurately count parts and cycle count parts when directed.  File rejected parts on a daily basis.

·         Move and empty trash containers into appropriate hoppers.

·         Recording part shortage information in appropriate areas and leadership.

·         Receives work direction from department leader.

All other duties as assigned.

Experience/Knowledge

·         Ability to be taught how to use warehouse scanners for inventory tracking and control.

·         Ability to thrive in busy, fast-paced production environment.

·         Ability to listen and be aware of shipping/receiving/production floor activity to support a safe and hazard free working environment.
