JOB SUMMARY
This position performs and coordinates the installation, repair, and service of electrical systems and components in residential and light commercial environments. Our electricians are expected to deliver high-quality work, communicate clearly with customers, and uphold the standards that define the Mister Sparky brand.
JOB DUTIES
- Installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and light commercial electrical systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues accurately and efficiently
- Determine the general condition of electrical systems and identify necessary repairs or upgrades
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and job specifications
- Identify proper materials and quantities for new installations and repair projects
- Present repair and installation options using the StraightForward Pricing Guide
- Perform thorough safety inspections and ensure all work meets code requirements
- Maintain a clean, professional job site and appearance
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers throughout the job
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Active Utah Journeyman Electrician License
- 3+ years of residential electrical experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Strong emphasis on customer service and professionalism
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
