Toddler Teacher – Early Learning Classroom
The Learning Experience – Newark is seeking a caring and dependable Toddler Teacher to support children during an important stage of language development, independence, and social-emotional growth.
This role focuses on creating engaging classroom experiences through structured routines, hands-on learning activities, and positive teacher-child relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Â Support daily classroom routines for toddler-aged childrenÂ
- Â Encourage language development and positive social interactionÂ
- Â Implement developmentally appropriate learning activities and classroom centersÂ
- Â Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environmentÂ
- Â Guide children through transitions including meals and classroom routinesÂ
- Â Communicate regularly with families regarding routines and milestonesÂ
- Â Follow Delaware licensing and safety requirementsÂ
Qualifications
- Â TECE 1 or TECE 2 requiredÂ
- Â Prior toddler classroom experience preferredÂ
- Â Strong communication and classroom management skillsÂ
- Â Reliable, nurturing, and team-oriented approachÂ
- Â Must meet Delaware childcare licensing requirementsÂ
