The role…

A Quality Systems Specialist ensures that products, services, and processes meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include the development and management of quality systems, conducting audits, analyzing performance, implementing improvements, and providing training and support to staff.

 

How you’ll make an impact…

  • Design, implement, and maintain quality control procedures, SOPs, and standards to ensure consistency and improve overall quality performance.
  • Lead internal and external audits for compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001), and ensure accurate documentation for audits and certifications.
  • Analyze KPIs and process performance using statistical tools, identify trends, and implement improvements based on data insights.
  • Design and deliver quality-related training programs to staff, fostering continuous improvement and ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to enhance quality.
  • Oversee customer complaint investigations and CAPA verification processes, ensuring effective resolution and quality improvements.
  • Work collaboratively with various teams to address quality issues and drive process improvements across the organization.
  • Fulfill emergent duties in the Quality Department as needed to ensure smooth operations and quick issue resolution.

 

What do you bring…

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with ISO 9001 or other QMS and internal audits.
  • Experience with QCP, KPIs, root cause analysis (RCA), DMS, CAPA, and statistical analysis.
  • Proven track record of driving continuous quality improvement and leading Lean Six Sigma projects
  • Ability to manage change in a manufacturing environment and interact effectively with all levels of staff and management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), statistical tools, and quality management systems.
  • Strong analytical abilities, including proficiency in descriptive statistics, Control Charting, Tolerancing, etc.
