The Boeing Company is looking for 777X Struct & Payload Design Engineers (Associate and Experienced) to join the 777X Structural Design team in Berkeley, MO. The 777X program as transitioning to full rate production and is looking for ways to improve design the design of wing components to improve producibility.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Correcting defects in fabrication and assembly processes by implementing changes to design

  • Identify and own implementation of cost and weight savings opportunities

  • Coordinate with other engineering groups in engineering product lifecycle

  • Support in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s of Science degree from an accredited course of study in Mechanical, Aerospace or Civil Engineering

  • (Level 2) 2+ years of work related engineering experience with a Bachelor’s or work related engineering experience with a Master’s

  • Security Clearance or ability to obtain clearance: Not Required.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Commercial airplanes design experience using CATIA and ENOVIA

  • Experience with composites and assembly

  • (Level 3) 5+ years of work related engineering experience with a Bachelor’s or 3+ years of work related engineering experience with a Master’s or work related engineering experience with a PhD

Associate: $76,500 - $102,350

Experienced: $90,100 - $121,900
