The Boeing Company is seeking Associate and Experienced Structural Analysis Engineers to join the 777X Structural Analysis team in Berkeley, MO.

The 777X program is working to complete certification deliverables for 777-9 and 777-8 Freighter as well as supporting rate production (on-site).

Position Responsibilities:
- Assessing defects in composite structure, interrogating the analysis for structural margin impacts and documenting the results

- Coordinate with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment
- Verifies structural integrity by using analytical methods and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance
- Define and document certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied
- Support in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements

- Works under general direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in Mechanical, Aerospace or Civil Engineering
  • 2+ years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Commercial airplanes structural analysis experience
  • Boeing analysis tools (Common Structures Workstation, IAS, CATIA and ENOVIA)
  • Experience with composites/composite analysis
