The job profile for this position is Software Engineering Senior Advisor, which is a Band 4 Contributor Career Track Role with Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc.

Responsibilities-

  • Develop APIs and applications in the healthcare domain with respect to Patient, Memberships, Order, Dispense and Pharmacy operations for related systems, by designing, developing, and installing software solutions.

  • Analyze and create business models, logical specifications and/or user requirements to develop solutions for the application.

  • Participate in scrum meetings and coordinate with Business Analysts to understand the business needs and implement the same into a functional design.

  • Design and document and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, diagrams, code comments and clear code, work with product owner to decomp or elaborations.

  • Mentor offshore resources and other vendors.

  • Create solutions that are innovative cost effective, practical, and consistent with organizational objectives.

  • Lead discussions with all levels of the organization and provide balanced information of an idea or communication of an issue (whether written or verbal).

  • Hybrid work schedule available.

Qualifications-

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, as well as 5 years of IT experience developing APIs in the healthcare domain. Must have experience with: healthcare benefit identification, order management, pharmacy operations, and the dispensing industry, as well as the following tools and technologies: Java; Microservices; Spring Boot; Python; GraphQL; gRPC; Attunity; Maven; Restful APIs; SOAP Services; Golang; AWS tools and technologies, including EC2, Terraforms, IAM, SQS, Step Functions, Lambda, S3, VPC, KMS, and Cloud Watch; OpenShift; PCF; Azure; Jenkins; GitHub Actions; Orchestrator; ArgoCD; Kinesis; Redis; Web Sphere Application Server; Web Logic; Apache; Tomcat; Kafka; Splunk; Dynatrace; New Relic; RabbitMQ; MongoDB; MySQL; SQL; Oracle 10g/11g; RX Home; DynamoDB; OAuth2; Okta; JWT; Junit; Mockito; Postman; SoapUI; Insomnia; and, Jmeter.
