The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) F/A-18 team is seeking a IDIQ Chief Integrator in St. Louis, MO.

The F/A-18 IDIQ Chief Integrator is responsible for ensuring the capabilities and initiatives developed for the F/A-18 and EA-18G are well-planned, tested thoroughly, and delivering the right value to the warfighter at the right time.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with Initiative architects to define platform-level requirements and to ensure successful interoperability among all initiatives

  • Ensuring comprehensive testing is conducted on all initiatives and the system as a whole

  • Ensuring each integrator on the Solution is trained and equipped to perform top-level integration work

  • Developing AIT development checklists to ensure first-time quality is achieved in development of requirements, ICDs, tests, and analysis of data

  • Working with customers and suppliers on best way to integrate future capabilities (i.e. serves as consultant/SME).  The Chief Integrator is F-18 architecture knowledgeable and best understands how to integrate future capabilities in the subsystems (AMC, SMS, DTP-N, Radar, etc.).

  • Generating, maintaining, and enforcing F18 requirements, design and test standards. This would be a bigger picture than what TLEs do here and would complement what the TLEs perform.

  • Ensuring each integrator on the Solution is trained and equipped to perform integration, analysis, and testing tasks

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement 

  • 10+ years of avionics integration experience in the aerospace defense industry including analysis, integration, and test experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

  • Active Security Clearance

  • 15+ years of avionics integration experience in the aerospace defense industry including analysis, integration, and test experience

  • 10+ years of Integration and test experience on fighter aircraft and mission systems (weapons, sensors, etc.)

  • 10+ years leading integration teams performing core integration activities (analysis/integration/test) or serving as a SME/TLE to those teams

  • 5+ Years experience interfacing with customers including presenting analyses, creating roadmaps

  • Experience working in an Agile development environment

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Summary pay range: $143,650 - $194,350
